Mission Mountains and Swan Ranger Program

Swan Ecosystem Center's rangers care for trails and campsites, and provide visitors with information about Leave No Trace techniques and the Forest Service Food Storage Order that protects people and wildlife. This is a partnership program with the Forest Service. Funding comes from donations, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Recreation Trails Program, the National Forest Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service.

TRAIL CONDITIONS postings are available June through October.
