Anne Dahl, President/Secretary
Anne oversees work of the SEC staff and is an officer of the Board of Directors. She is a member of the Board's Executive Committee. Anne's roles include project oversight, fundraising and outreach. She is the chief spokesperson for the organization.

Paula Clarke, Visitor Services
Paula's primary role at SEC is to serve the public. Paula helps people learn about and enjoy SEC's programs. She provides residents and visitors with information about trails and campsites, and she responds to inquiries about bears and other wildlife. Paula sells maps, firewood permits, books and gifts at SEC's Visitor Center. She provides support to SEC staff, maintains the Community Calendar and updates the Web site.

Diann Ericson, Education Coordinator
Diann works to enhance the awareness of the natural history and natural resources of the Swan Valley for residents and visitors. Diann's training as an educator helps her plan and organize informative and entertaining programs and workshops. Youth programs are age-appropriate and designed to complement Montana's school curriculum. The goal of all youth programs is to spend valuable time outdoors.

Leanna Grubaugh, Visitor Services
Leanna serves the public by providing information, answering questions and selling items at SEC's Visitor Center. She assists with the Swan Emergency Alert System (SEAS), SEC's computer network and office systems. Leanna works on special projects and assists with match details for multiple grants. Leanna coordinates volunteer hours and mileage matches, as well as balancing cash and deposits plus creating thank you letters to donors.

Roger Marshall, Stewardship Forester
With over 30 years of forestry experience working in the Seeley and Swan Valleys, Roger provides expert opinion on forestland conditions and guidance for landowners. With grant funds available for landowners at SEC, he helps develop stewardship plans to improve forest health, enhance tree vigor and growth, reduce wildfire risk, control invasive weeds, protect water quality, upgrade roads, and maintain quality fish and wildlife habitat. Funded projects are monitored and evaluated to assure they provide for the long term sustainability of Swan Valley ecosystems.

Uwe Schaefer, Director of Finance, Uwe joined the staff to serve as director of finance. Uwe tracks income, expenses, billing and match details for multiple grants. He prepares payroll information, pays bills and reimbursements, plus prepares financial reports for grants. Uwe prepares monthly reports for the Board of Directors and works with SEC's Board to prepare the annual budgets. He coordinates with the Treasurer to manage and track investments. In addition to his accounting responsibilities, Uwe helps with planning and fundraising. He lives in Kalispell with his wife and two children.

Betsy Spettigue, Wildlife Program Coordinator & Office Manager
Betsy coordinates the Wildlife Program including Living with Wildlife, Swan Valley Bear Resources and the Wildlife committee of the Swan Lands Coordinating Council. She manages office issues, including staff supervision, computer and phone systems, operations and maintenance, SEC's Web site development and updates. Betsy assists with fundraising, outreach and planning.
